A day to the new year and i started out late. After much thought and planning, decided to meet Arfin and shop at Plaza Singapura for birthday pressies. Perhaps, the trip could provide some much needed time off from other depressing matters on hand. It did thankfully.

Being the tardy bugger that i am, arrived about 30 mins later at 2pm at the Tampines MRT station. I could have blame the tardiness of the bus but i shan't since i can't possibly blame the faultless bus driver and his timetable everytime i'm late. So Arfin waited like waiting for nangka busuk to fall from sky, but i as usual, 'sashay' my way into the packed MRT station like i'm not late.

So we took the train to PS. I swear, if another gatal woman go and hug me in the train ever again, i am gonna bitch slap her silly. Ade ke, dah la belambak org, nak peluk-peluk ni in the train. Waaah... cannot tahan. Can't move front, can't move back. Arfin action tak pandang je...Tanak tolong tau. Bugger.

So, we got off at Dhoby and started walking towards the exit. Action pandai tau. Got two exits. Left and right. So i say:

Me: Take left.
Him: Nooooo...take right...got alot more people.
Me: So what? We follow the crowd ah??
Him: errrr...

So we stood there, like big question marks. Then this lady, with some senget nye accent, ask us.

Senget Accent Lady: Errrr...Escuse mee arh. Doo euu know how to go to Plaza Shingapura?

Us: ????

Me: Errr..We also deciding which way to go. *looks at Arfin for some help*
Him: *As useful to the situation as a spoon is to a dog*

Jeng jeng jeng

The S.A lady turned and big big nice nice got this directory riiiight behind us.

-.-"'

So while she slowly slowly read, i read ahead and pointed out that PS was the right exit.

Ta Daa~

That done, we chop chop walked ahead to PS.

Over at PS, stomach grumble grumble. But we ignored and window shop first. Then we really couldn't tahan, so Arfin complained that he wanted to eat expensive sweet liquid that was frozen. I stand outside Swensen's, make ugly face that i dun have money and then my face pretty again when he say he treat me and i happy happy agree while he probably crying inside his heart about how his wallet now seems lighter and all this while we were outside, scrutinising the menu and finally we about to go in when kanasai, Akon's Lonely was playing on the stereo.

Damn.

I smile smile on the outside but nabeh, i hear my heart crying like baby on the inside.

We went inside to our seats, and just like my heart, the skies were also crying with me.

We ordered Topless 5- Sticky chewy chocolate (my favourite!!), strawberry, cookies n cream, coffee and frosted chocolate malt.

Immediately, i transformed to camera whore. Since i specifically asked for him to bring his digi, began clicking like mad woman.

I like taking pics.

Too bad, i dun like the results.

With face like mine, how to like??

So after we chat over slowly melting semi-frozen liquid, we head out to search for the pressies. Finally, after much discussions and many options- cancelling, we paid for a CD for our dear Jason at Sembawang.

We walk walk and take more pics.

We eat eat and take more pics too.

After the Carrefour and Sportslink and Sembawang and Molecule and Mcdonald's, we shuffle our slippers to the MRT and go down to Eastpoint to watch the Anugerah finalists and meet my dearest human ATM and manucurist, Mummy and Mimi respectively. Oh, not to mention the little brat of a brother, Azril.

So we watch and frown the performances (watch) and the screaming supporters (frown) . Ok, they may be good but not THAT good.

So after bursting our eardrums just standing there, it finally ended and family dearest went on home to get ready to go out AGAIN while me and him sit and sip HIS caramel rhumba in Starbucks.

Yum.

After that, we walk walk somemore and as usual, tak sah if i don't step into any sighted Sportslink shop.

I dunnoe what's with me and any sports related shops. If see, must go. Just go. If go in and don't buy also can but better if go in and buy la. That one can wait until i either marry filthy rich but old and balding fuddy daddy or i go rob bank.

Both difficult.

But possible.

;p

Newaes, while we in there and i dream about buying the Nikes, Adidases, Reeboks, Golas and Pumas, the Top 100 songs Of 2005 was on 98.7fm.

Shit.

I wanna go home and listen.

But, this bugger with me say: Never mind. We go back home, sure got enuff time to listen. It's only the number 16th song.

Weiiii...You think song 16th to number 1 song can last till two hours ah??

Hmph.

Never mind. Since you treat me expensive ice-cream, i treat you my time la eh.

Same expensive leh.

Newaes, we got tired and we finished walking around Eastpoint, so we were at the third level right.. and got this stereo thingy which can hear the songs the mall was playing la.

That time the song playing was Brian McKnight's Back at One.

Toot.

Cannot get any more worse issit?

So i say to him: Eh my back hurt from just now lei. We sit down and listen nice song can?

I sit down and he followed suit.

I become abit emo siket for the first time on the outing and sing to the song la.

Thankew Eyes.

For not crying when i tell you to.

Next morning when you guys get red and swollen, i put EyeMo for you.

Set?

Set.

Suddenly, with his caramel rhumba and our pathethic faces, he says:

'Eh, we like pengemis eh?'

On cue, i put out my cupped hands and started to put more pathethic face and sing out of tune.

On cue too, his giggle giggle and chuckle chuckle.

The songs ended and we walked back to my house to Pussycat Dolls' Stickwitu.

He sent me home but not before i grumble grumble about me missing the number 1 song of the year.

He assured me i won't.

We swung on the swings at the playground like anak badaks and listen to James Blunt's You're Beautiful.

Eh...I thot i won't think of some people. But in the end, see the shit everytime the fucking songs come out one??

Argh...Don't think. Don't sing. Just forget and move on. They have. You have too.

You must.

So i try my best to forget and then after swinging and talking somemore, we went up and that ended my last day of 2005 at the most early hours of 9.46pm.

Fine. It was late but not that late considering it was New Year's Eve sei.

The downs of being a teenager.

Curfews.

Sigh.

Newaes, today was

Unexpected but enjoyable though.

Thanx Arfin. We should do it again.

You're good company to have.

EH!!!!

Nabeh.

I missed the number 1 song leh you blardy toot!

Hmph.

You owe me.

PS: Tell me the codes to put up the pics on my blog ok? ok.
PPS: You better search for the USB reader and send the pics ah. Dah la, aku susah-susah posing and smile.
PPS: Thanx for the gum. :)
