Ok so before i tell you of my plans today, let me tell you what happened in school for the national day celebrations.
Went to school extra early cos Mrs G wanted me to help out with the awards. There was going to be a parade and then community singing, award presentation for thecolours awar and finally, marching out of the parade. After that, the upper sec were to go to the hall to watch a concert performed by the students. Overall, everything was nice but the soncert could have stretch on longer.
The parade was great. Very smart. Now i regret not joining NCC (Sea). Their uniform sek sei. Lol. Anyways, Aisha was the IC of the colours party. Hahaha! Her voice damn cute la. Everybody was saying that it was cute and all after the parade. Since i was standing at the flag post and she at the foyer, could hear that it was high-pitched and clear. LOL. i won't forget her terkepit voice for a long time. Oh and my mum was supposed to attend the celebrations cos Aisha invited her as her guest but my mum backed out since there was nobody to take care of the little brat of my brother. Hmph. So back to the issue on hand.
After all that parade and singing of this year's theme song, there was the award ceremony next. Very jealous of all the award winners cos this year, all the awards are so nice! Got the glass kind, trophy-style and medal ones. Damn. PLUS Faritz got an award for representing Singapore in the national U-16 football team and Aisha got Medal Of Honour. Whee~! Had some funny moments when it came to Faritz's turn cos he's currently in Vietnam for national matches, so Indra took for him la. Lol. The emcee just called Faritz's name so you can imagine the laughs when Indra, looking less than fit to be a national soccer player, took the award. Indra's big and tough-looking, not the usual footballer physique.
Bla bla bla...Concert was fine i guess. The usual la. Before the concert started, managed to chat with Aisha for abit. I found that she looks different in the uniform. And she should tie her hair up. Looks nice. :)
Oh and after everything ended, me and the guys of 4H played a soccer friendly with 4F. It was fun! We won 2-0. Mokhsin scored the first and Ernie, outrageously, scored the other. Outrageously because he was the keeper and the goal was directly from his goal kick. It floated over our heads, including the goalie cos he went out from his line and into the goal. Haha! Like a copy of David Beckham's half-line goal, and if im not wrong, that goal was also voted the goal of the decade.
So that was it for yesterday. Today, in fact, five minutes ago, Mum, Azril and Pijul want to watch the fireworks at Kallang. Aiyoh. I want to watch NDP 06 and Singapore Idol!!! So i guess i'll probably have to follow along since Dad don't want to go. Leceh la. Plus the digicam with bro; he went for the NDP already. That shithead, got extra ticket, dont' want to save for me. Go give his friend. Hmph.
So it'll be all fun and games for most of this week. Planning to catch the fireworks display this Sat at Marina Promenade. Guys, message me if you all want to go and mebbe we can go for dinner before it starts. It starts at 9pm btw. And i feel lyk seafood. :)
