Graduation-2006 In the beginning, we always knew This day would come, but never so soon. We studied, we joked, we've had our fun, We played together, in the rain and the sun. Year 2005, we started out as 3G, Through the many disputes, We were very much a family. A class of 38, we were formed, Down to 27, 11 had to fall. At first, we thought we'd never last. A new beginning, a brand new start, An unspoken promise to never part. With our cheeky jokers, we'd hardly frown. Sure we've had our ups and downs, But we stayed together, and that's what counts. Physics, Accounts and Humanities. We tried our best to stay awake, If not our testimonials would be at stake. Trying hard not to let us sway. Because of you, we've become who we are, Don't mind, we treat you go spa? We needed you to guide us along. We're sorry we took you all for granted, Boy, you had to clear the mess we started. Seeing our results, you said we were slaughtered. But for all the things that you do, There's no better expression but Thank You. Especially to 4H, so listen up please. But remember the highs that we've achieved. Look ahead with heads held high, This might be the end but it isn't goodbye. Let's reach for our dreams! For the future's untold, And nothing's ever what it seems. To excite, To succeed, To Stand Out! 4H 2006 This is the graduation poem that me and Gen read out during our Graduation Ceremony, which we also emceed for by the way. Haha. Melampaukan? But yeah... We are very much sought-after in this kinda stuffs. Tsk tsk. Anyways, we made this poem with our classmates and teachers in mind and believe it or not, it took a whole night to make it. I tell you, the sense of reading the finished work in front of our batch with 4H beaming and some crying, almost made me wanna cry as well on stage, but must be professional mah... :) So yeah... I hoped that the poem touched your heart cos i sure was tearing up when we were rehearsing backstage.
